Project Brief

This project involved the installation of our Hyper Flake Stone decorative epoxy flooring system on the Gold Coast. The client wanted to upgrade existing concrete with a seamless, stone-look finish that was durable, low maintenance, and suitable for long-term use

The existing concrete showed signs of wear and required proper preparation to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity. Our team carried out a full mechanical preparation process before applying the multi-layer decorative flake system. The finished surface now delivers a high-end aesthetic with superior strength and protection.

Surface Preparation & Diamond Grinding

For this project, the existing concrete surface was mechanically diamond ground to create the correct surface profile for resin bonding. Proper preparation is critical to prevent delamination and premature failure. All dust and debris were removed, and the substrate was assessed to ensure it was structurally sound before proceeding with the coating system.

Crack Repair & Substrate Levelling

Any minor cracks and surface imperfections were repaired using professional-grade fillers designed for resin flooring systems. Levelling ensured a consistent surface before coating application. Epoxy Base Coat Application

Full Hyper Flake Broadcast
